Seattle, WA July 22, 2024 – Black and Loud Fest Seattle triumphantly returns to the Crocodile for a three stage take over on Saturday September 14, 2024 for what is now an explosive PNW musical tradition of black fronted alternative rock, punk, soul, funk, jazz, hip hop, americana, country & gospel bands and artists from Seattle and across the United States.  Centered on music, culture, and food and fueled by the ever growing support of Jack Daniel’s and Ariel Rider eBikes, Black and Loud promises more of everything this September 2024.

The two top Black rock guitarists and front men of the Pacific Northwest -  Ayron Jones and co-founder of the Fest Cameron Lavi-Jones of King Youngblood co-headline the main stage at the Crocodile.   Black and Loud co-founder Anthony Briscoe and his punk soul band Down North will also grace the main stage for their annual appearance. Black and Loud Fest started in a parking lot in Fremont in 2022 and has grown to a national touring festival in 2024 with a long term commitment for national touring and bigger and bigger venues in partnership with Jack Daniel’s the Fest’s title sponsor.  With several years of National and International touring thanks to a run with Big Machine Records, world class rocker Ayron Jones will premier two songs he and Cameron Lavi-Jones co-wrote for the new King Youngblood album coming in Spring 2025.  The two rock guitarists and close friends playing together on one stage songs they co-wrote will assure the fest is in fact Black and Loud.

On April 6, 2024, Black and Loud expanded to the Bossanova Ballroom in Portland, OR to a packed house of Alternative Black Music fans.  Plans are underway to expand Black and Loud Fest in partnership with Jack Daniel’s to Brooklyn, Nashville, Atlanta, Chicago, LA, Dallas, Houston, Oakland, CA, Portland, OR, and New Orleans in 2024 and especially 2025, working with King Youngblood’s agents Paladin Artists who are the official agency for Black and Loud Fest.

“We just returned from a week of meetings, Distillery Tour, live performance and general bonding with our sponsors Jack Daniel’s in Nashville and Lynchburg, TN.  We even performed an acoustic show for the Jack Daniel’s brass in the famous cave where the aquifer for the only water used to make Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey originates.  The plans to expand Black and Loud Fest in Seattle and beyond to multiple cities across the country is really coming together.  We are in discussions with the National Museum of African American Music (“NMAAM”) in Nashville to produce an immersive Black and Loud Fest inside the NMAAM in Nashville and see our vision come alive in one of the best museums for Black Music in the world. They don’t have a full on Black Alternative Music exhibit in the museum yet and we intend to fix that. As we branch out nationally, this is a real example of visualize actualize.” Says Cameron Lavi-Jones, Black and Loud visionary and King Youngblood band leader.

“Black and Loud is a vibrant tribute to the indelible impact of Black artists shaping the landscape of American pop culture. Our goal is to honor the broad spectrum of Black creativity, showcasing how integral these contributions have been in defining American music and culture at large.  This festival is for everyone while celebrating Black Joy loudly.” adds Anthony Briscoe, co-founder of Black and Loud and Down North band leader.

“We're excited to be part of Black and Loud because that's who we are and we can express it through our music and songs. It's a blessing to be able to share our music at the Black and Loud Festival. This is so exciting for us because this festival was created for people that look like me, to have a place and space to express myself through my music” says Nikki D Brown leader of Sisters of Thunder.

Black and Loud Fest Seattle will again use all three stages – Here After, Madam Lou’s Ariel Rider Stage  and the Crocodile Jack Daniel’s Mainstage to host the Fest and will again include a “Black Carpet emphasizing Black Media representation and a special intimate pre show rock and roll Jack Daniel’s VIP Tennessee Whiskey tasting event and artist meet and greet. The food and whiskey once again will be off the chain.

“I have been mentoring Cameron Lavi-Jones of King Youngblood since he was a teenager and I am thrilled to be part of something so important to Black culture in America that he started.  Black and Loud brings everything I love about being a Black Rock and Roll artist,” says Co-Headliner Ayron Jones, “and if you know about me,  we gonna be LOUD.”
